Editorial notes
Classification rationale, evidence status, source limitations.
Classification rationale
Within Hieropedia’s classification, a historical human-led institution linking technological futures, spiritual community and imagined engineered intelligence; not a documented machine-originated religion.
Evidence status
Contemporaneous founder accounts, a preserved lecture and later scholarly interpretation support a bounded history of the human-led association and its proposed cosmic engineering program.
Classification confidence: Moderate
Source limitations
Founders’ publications and participant accounts supply most of the institutional history. Scholarly analysis provides context, not a complete organizational archive. The sources do not establish membership totals, a formal dissolution or legal succession, or the realization of the proposed technologies.

Seven references: founder Prisco’s 2008 launch report and 2009 essay, Van Nedervelde’s preserved 2008 lecture, Hughes’s 2010 network commentary, Farman’s 2019 scholarly analysis, participant Bainbridge’s 2019 history and Prisco’s 2023 recollection. Farman is the one independent subject-coverage source counted. Hughes explicitly shares a network with OCE figures; Bainbridge participated and is not counted as independent despite scholarly publication. The lecture reproduces only selected Prospectus material, not a complete governance archive. Meeting chronology is distinguished from announcements and later memories; no numerical membership, formal dissolution, legal succession or technological efficacy is inferred.
