Continuity
Hieropedia is maintained so that its published record can remain inspectable and recoverable if the live domain, current hosting, or present operator becomes unavailable. The live site is not treated as the only copy.
Public releases
The public release index lists versioned copies of the rendered site and its public datasets. A later correction or reclassification creates a new published state rather than silently replacing the historical one.
Reproducibility and restoration
A public release is intended to contain enough published material to inspect the record and restore the static site without a proprietary server application. Maintainer-level source restoration and validation instructions are kept in the public repository, rather than repeated on this visitor-facing page.
Reuse
Original editorial text may be reused under the license stated on the Legal page. Stable identifiers, canonical URLs, citation files, machine-readable records, and preservation metadata support quotation, research, and independent archiving.
Preservation limits
No archive can guarantee permanent or complete custody. External services may fail, source material may disappear, and some third-party content cannot lawfully be republished. Continuity measures preserve Hieropedia’s public record selectively and do not promise preservation of the entire web or every source consulted.
Corrections remain possible
A release preserves what was published at a particular time; it does not freeze an error or prevent later correction. See Corrections. Source and provenance evidence may be sent through Source tips.
